Location notes
The location is a railway preservation center, to the north of Chesterfield. Consisting of a former depot with round house and coaling stages. It is on the Sheffield Avoiding line from Chesterfield.

Environment
The Roundhouse is open on Saturdays and Sundays for non members to view, public access is to the roundhouse and at present the old coaling stage ramp.
Road directions
From Chesterfield take the A619 to Staveley after Ringwood Hall look for the brown tourist signs on the left and follow road signs.

Parking
Car parking inside the shed yard area, on special days the location has extra field parking.
Public transport
Stagecoach in Chesterfield operate route 90 past Barrow Hill Roundhouse every 30 minutes on a Monday - Saturday and hourly on a Sunday. Its best to get the bus from either New Beetwell Street or Cavendish Street (about 10 minutes walk from Chesterfield rail station).
On special days there is often a shuttle bus service from Chesterfield.
